Privacy Policy

How this website works with information, and the business-specific details still awaiting confirmation.

Draft — owner review required before launch
This page describes the website as built. Business-specific details and legal terms remain to be confirmed by the operator; it is not a final legal notice.

Draft prepared .

Who is responsible?

This website presents Maths By Ms B and its Maths tuition services. The full legal name of the operator, business contact address and final privacy contact are awaiting owner confirmation.

For now, use the contact options on the contact page for questions about this draft. Conflicting email addresses on the original website are explicitly flagged there.

When you get in touch

WhatsApp, telephone and email links open your chosen communication service. An enquiry may share your name, contact details and the learning needs you choose to describe. The website does not itself accept enquiry form submissions, create learner accounts or process payments.

For children, a parent or carer should make the initial enquiry. Only share information needed to discuss tuition; do not send bank details, identity documents or sensitive educational or health records in an initial message.

The operator must confirm how enquiry and tuition records are handled, their lawful bases for processing, recipients, safeguarding arrangements and applicable retention periods before publishing a final notice.

Calculator inputs

The percentage and GCSE grade calculators run in your browser. The application does not submit or save your inputs, exam reference, calculated results or supplied grade boundaries. Refreshing or leaving the page clears this temporary calculator state.

The calculator interfaces do not require names, email addresses or other identifying information. Do not enter personal details in the optional exam-reference field.

Hosting and analytics

The site is configured for Vercel hosting. Hosting services can process technical request information, including IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure a website.

On production builds, Vercel Web Analytics is configured to measure page views and selected website interactions, such as tuition-page views, resource clicks and contact-link clicks. These custom events do not include calculator values or the content of messages you send.

The analytics configuration removes URL query strings and fragments before sending page URLs and suppresses analytics events when the browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. These controls do not stop essential hosting requests or govern external services.

Vercel describes Web Analytics as cookieless. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information (opens in a new tab). The operator must review deployment settings, processor agreements, international transfers and retention before launch.

Cookies and browser storage

The application does not set its own advertising cookies or store your calculator inputs in cookies or local storage. No advertising pixels or embedded social feeds are included.

External services you choose to open may use their own cookies and privacy settings. The hosting platform may also use security-related technologies. If the operator adds optional tracking, a new integration or embedded content, this notice and any consent requirements must be reviewed first.

Links to other services

Following a WhatsApp or other external link takes you to a service with its own privacy terms. Your message is sent only if you choose to send it through that service; opening a prepared WhatsApp enquiry is not an automatic submission.

The privacy practices of a communication or exam-board website are separate from those of this site. Review the relevant provider’s information before sharing personal data.

Your information rights

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights are not absolute.

You can raise a concern with the operator or seek guidance from the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (opens in a new tab). The final notice must confirm the appropriate contact and request-handling process.

Details still to confirm

This draft should not be treated as a finished compliance document. Before launch, the operator needs to confirm:

  • Legal identity, business address and the correct privacy contact.
  • What enquiry, learner, parent and payment records are actually held.
  • Processing purposes, lawful bases and any special-category conditions.
  • Retention periods, recipients, security arrangements and international transfers.
  • Safeguarding, information-rights procedures and the deployed analytics configuration.
