Is this for me?

A little support, right where it is needed.

For children aged 7+ who are building their core Maths skills, finding particular topics difficult or beginning to lose confidence. Support starts with what your child understands now, rather than where a textbook says they should be.

See how tuition works

What we can work on

Make room for the topics that matter.

These are areas you can discuss with Ms B. The focus of tuition is agreed around the learner's needs and relevant course requirements.

Number confidence

Explore place value, addition, subtraction and the meaning behind the numbers.

Times tables & division

Build understanding of multiplication and division, rather than relying only on recall.

Fractions & decimals

Make parts of a whole more approachable with clear explanations and practice.

Shape & measurement

Connect length, time, money and shapes to familiar everyday situations.

Word problems

Slow down, find the information that matters and choose a sensible first step.

Explaining the why

Encourage children to talk through their thinking in a patient, supportive space.

A session, at your pace

What a lesson could look like

There is no rigid formula for every learner. A session might include these steps, adapted to what you need.
